MARKET STREET COPYING SESAME STREET?
MONDAY, AUGUST 23, 2010 - NEW YORK, NY

One of my buddies on facebook dropped me a note the other day saying basically that the layout of Playdom's facebook game "Market Street" was drawn with the same composition as the illustrated version of Sesame Street I drew for my art & science experiment 6 Degrees Of Sesame. Something might be fishy, or else it's just an happy coincidence. . .

WHEN POLICE SKETCHES ARE TOO GENERIC
SUNDAY, AUGUST 22, 2010 - BROOKLYN, NY

Sometimes a police sketch is so generic it makes pretty much anybody even vaguely similar to the criminal into a suspect. I blame the artist, because this drawing really can't help the police one iota. Going from the drawing the Police released the Brooklyn rapist could easily be. . .

THE REAL JERSEY SHORE: SUMMER'S LAST HURRAH
FRIDAY, AUGUST 13, 2010 - THE JERSEY SHORE, NJ

Although Molly and I had already taken our big summer vacation down to St. Augustine Florida a few months back, my friend Dave and his chick Meaghan invited us, photographer Tommy D, and Poet Chris "Inkspot" Caruso to go with them to Great Adventure, and then stay with them on the Jersey Shore for a weekend. . .<< CONTINUE READING / POST COMMENTS AFTER THE JUMP

COJO WELCOMES A WIZARD
THURSDAY, AUGUST 5, 2010 - NEW YORK, NY

Wizard Magazine has always been the top comic book pricing guide in the comic book world, but recently the magazine has taken on a life of it's own. When I was 13 I would have given my left nut to be drawing for Wizard Magazine. Almost 20 years later, my nuts are still intact and my teenage dream is coming true. Keep your eyes out for the October issue when it hits newsstands, I'm starting off with a fat two page spread. If you gotta go in, go BIG. .<< POST COMMENTS AFTER THE JUMP

After my last studio went to hell in a hand basket and with my girlfriend Molly's lease running out we decided it was about time we moved in together and got a decent sized place where I would have some room to paint. . .<< CONTINUE READING / POST COMMENTS AFTER THE JUMP

Art Sucks.com is a single-author contemporary art blog that for the past decade has keenly and often satirically observed the convergence of fine art, pop culture, art critique, and commercial art in the 21st century.
Tracking the f_cked-up visual life and mind of COJO ART JUGGERNAUT (MAXIM, ROLLING STONE, VIBE, WWE), a Gen-Y Artistic Pop-Zeitgeist trudging the streets of Manhattan (Philly, Vegas, Queens, Bklyn, etc...), gnawing on the big rotten apple for all it's worth, and getting drunk on the cider. . .
Celebrity encounters, industry parties, the ins and outs of the art world, paparazzi, models, and deranged homeless people bathing in their own urine: no topic is safe, and the unusual is commonplace.
Starving artists of the world grab your sketchbooks, skirt the velvet rope, and take a walk with the beautiful people!
