HOW TO: PARTY LIKE A ROCK STAR- EXECUTING A TEQUILLA SHOT

DOC COYLE, guitarist for GOD FORBID (One of the world's most famous heavy metal bands- BILLBOARD no.119 ) teaches us how to drink Tequilla like a man, shot glasses not included.

STEP 1) A roadie fetches Doc a bottle of Jose Cuervo, a few limes, and a salt shaker. The roadie places them on the table before backing off with a whimper. Doc licks the back of his left hand between the thumb and index finger to moisten the area, prepping it.
STEP 2) Doc applies salt to area he just licked. It doesn't hurt to throw a good badass-metal-expression while performing these steps, especially if the roadies look on as though they want next swig- one look can usually put 'em in their place.
STEP 3) Doc quickly licks the salt from his left hand and slams the Tequilla with his right. That's right pansy, rockstars chug straight from the bottle! If you aren't so brave, you can put a dainty little shot glass in your right hand Sally, and a lemon or lime wedge in your left. Don't want to chip a nail or anything.
STEP 4) Doc tosses the bottle to any nearby concrete, picking up the lime wedge with the left hand in one fluid movement before the glass hits the pavement he quickly sucks it and transfers it to his right hand. When you try this at home just be sure not to cry, as there's no crying in metal.
Congrats Doc! GOD FORBID 's new album IV: Constitution of Treason opened in the Billboard Hot 200 chart at 119. That's fucken phenominal.
Last Summer TRACY and I had the good fortune to vacation with Doc, JAIN and a few of Jain's other close friends at her family's mansion on Shelter Island on Long Island Sound. We rocked out to an early cut of the album all whie maintaining a week long perpetual state of drunkeness.
I'll write about it one day when I have time I am sure. We partied like rockstars, lots of nudity, music, and of course, booze. . .
GOD FORBID is currently on tour with ANTHRAX , MANNTIS and SWORN ENEMY .
