FROM COJO TO WARHOL
5-1-06 POST RATED: Loop, Loopnyc.com, Loop Bags, Boom Box Bag, Audio Couture, Warhol, Andy Warhol, Cojo, DJ Bags, America's Next Top Model
After three years of designing the Audio Couture bags-(view here) for Loop / Parcel they have finally discontinued the line. I would be disappointed except that I'm being replaced by the one and only Andy Warhol.
The Boom Box bags, DJ Bags, and Guitar Shaped Bags I designed had a great run, being photographed in such magazines as: Entertainment Weekly, Fader, InTouch Magazine, JANE Magazine, Maxim Magazine, US Weekly, and The Village Voice.
The bags were also used as props on many TV shows. I have no idea how many, I can assume a lot because just from my own television viewing I spotted them on , MTV's Boiling Points, Comedy Central's Reno 911!, BET's College Hill, and two seasons of America's Next Top Model.
I feel extremely honored that my replacement is an ANDY WARHOL Signature line. Andy Warhol is one of my all time heroes in the fine art world. I hope one day to get to the level he was in his prime. Only time and luck will tell.

Thanks to Ciaran, China, Kate and the LoopNyc.com team for all the great work. I'm sure we'll work together again soon. If anyone hasn't seen the recaps of a couple of the various legendary Loop Summer parties I've attended you can check them out here.2003- Summer Bling, 2004- Celebrity Criminal Party.
Just another day in the life of an Art Juggernaut.
