In the new 4-Cover issue of WWE MAGAZINE in addition to the GREAT KHALI PIECE I also had the chance to do up this awesome tribute to Raquel Welch's 1966 ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. movie poster (As referenced in The Shawshank Redemption- "What say there, fuzzy britches?") for an interview with WWE DIVA BETH PHOENIX. The interview was written by Matt Berical with photography by David Yellen. I was able to work in my cartoon style, creating the cavemen, the dinosaurs, as well as the feature's header type "DAWN OF THE GLAMAZON" (SEE LAYOUT LARGE). The layout was done by WWE Magazine Creative Director Brant Louck.
Here are some more links that might come in handy if you like this piece, or a fan of Beth Phoenix. Here is Beth Phoenix's fan site BETHPHOENIX.ORG. Here is BETH PHOENIX'S MYSPACE PAGE. If you like the WWE you can visit my WWE FOLIO for a gallery of all my WWE artwork. If you are just into cave girls, there is actually a blog I found online that is dedicated to archiving photos of Cave girls in fur bikinis. It's called CAVE GIRLS IN FUR BIKINIS! (Not safe for work).
