John McCrea and the rest of Cake jammed the main stage of ArtScape Baltimore 2009 getting an audience of thousands to chant Sheep go to heaven, goats go to hell for about 5 minutes. . . literally.

It was a great show even though I had to watch most of it through the butthole of this young hippy chick who decided to dance to every song, even the slow ones that are not meant to be danced to.

Being a Cake fan back in the 90s I was kinda disappointed that they didn't play two of my favorite Cake songs: Friend is a Four Letter Word and their cover of I Will Survive. Other than that they blew the roof off the joint, and I got some great shots.

Just check out the amazing view of the stage we had:

We actually showed up almost an hour early for the show and it was already too packed to get any seating on the grass.

Somehow we met an awesome woman who is actually an art framer, named Janet (see above) she let us sit behind her family. Thanks Janet!

Oh, and Molly played with a dog.

Celebrity encounters, industry parties, the ins and outs of the art world, paparazzi, models, and deranged homeless people bathing in their own urine. No topic is safe, and the unusual is commonplace. . .
