I was asked a few months ago to draw a pin-up of Hispanic Batman for Royal Flush Magazine's special limited edition of collected Hispanic Batman stories to be sold at the San Diego Comicon in late July. Royal Flush magazine is a really densly illustrated music and pop culture parody mag along the lines of Mad Magazine but hipper- with a lot of cutting edge artists (myself included) who create content basically out of love.
The concept I pitched the ed-in-chief Josh Bernstein was for Hispanic Batman and Roberto to be lighting off bottlerockets on the roof of a "South Of The Border" style store while major crime was going on in Gotham which they should be responding to but are ignoring (as pictured above).
