The MTA Arts for Transit has apparently commissioned a new piece of subway art for the new year by illustrator Sophie Blackall. If it's anything like last year's piece it will be on every single train for the entire year.
I personally like drawing long horizontal rectangular pieces.
There are a few things missing from the piece, if you have ridden a NY subway in the past few years.
Closer in, let's see if you can't spot it.
Giant headphones, iPads, iPhones, and tablets of various sizes. I also see adult people reading books in this drawing, and without irony.
