"The update where he got mugged (COJO MUGGED AT GUNPOINT) caught my eye that we really became best buds. I'm now honored to be named Cojo's "#1 Favorite Friend-Girl", and I do all I can to live up to that title! This includes, but is not limited to: Regular outings to the local Wal Mart's photo center, the occasional in depth analysis of artwork featured on the cover a board game (and/or magazine) and the ever present "open ear": I'm readily available should the man need to vent or shoot the shit. While Cojo is a phenomenal artist he is, more importantly, one of my favorite people in the world; always thinking, always laughing and always supportive.....Besides, one day when he's sipping Crystal with Snoop and his ass is sore from all the celebs claiming residency in his colon, I can say I knew him way back when...... OK, I lied. I'm really just around because having Cojo as my friend gives me insta-V.I.P."
MORE ABOUT ME:
I work for The Man part-time at WZZO (www.wzzo.com), a radio station in Allentown, PA. I'm the unofficial "bitch" so I do just about anything that they need me to do: tech remotes (set up the equipment when we broadcast live), run tours of the station, do work for our morning show and do on-air shifts. I got into radio thinking that I could take back the airwaves and expose people to new music. I was getting tired of all the music I was hearing on the air. We're spoon fed pop music and then "alternative" music, but what about the rest of us? I really think that everyone can find some kind of music that speaks to them, but many of us won't just find it on your local FM station. There are actual musicians that have something to say, political or otherwise. So why are we banning them from our rock stations? Don’Äôt get me wrong. I love my job and I love playing awesome classic rock. Lots of people spent the 70s stoned and listening to those artists; but it’Äôs my goal to, ultimately, get those TRULY "alternative" bands heard on the air.
I live in North Western NJ with my 2 kittens, Ugly and Nermal. I only work part-time at the station, and I prefer to keep the OTHER part of my life private. Part-time DJ/Part-Time ____....just try to guess’Ķ.you'll never know’Ķ..muahahaha’Ķ’Ķ I'm a TV junkie with 6 Feet Under at the top of the list. I love Stella Comedy and David Cross. I'm a social buttahfly---yenta--- and my friends always come first.......unless I'm watching an episode of said HBO series in which case any/all crisis are put on hold until 10pm on Sunday nights. My favorite book is Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs and I'll never say no to a Reese's Peanut butter Cup. I can't stand Novelty t-shirts (ESPECIALLY: 'I do whatever the voices in my head tell me to do') and I don't chow down on meat. I love the punk rock music but I'm not a big fan of pop-punk and the like of it. I definitely don't limit myself to punk, but I'd be raping Cojo's website if I went into great detail about the different tunes I dig and the five "Ws" associated with it all. I'm sure there's much more I'd love to say. . .I mean, hey: I AM a radio jock: we love to talk, but I must away. I'll leave you with this: Cojo is easily one of the most talented artists of our generation so be prepared to witness him take over the world. It's inevitable.....don’Äôt ever say I didn't warn you. . .
