MORE ABOUT ME:
I grew up in Armstrong, a small town in Northern Iowa with one stop light (population 900). In high school we had an art class but it was usually taught by the volleyball coach or whichever coach needed a little extra money. I never gave art much thought, I always figured I would be doing some sort of hard labor job. My first job was drilling water wells with my dad during my high school years. Then I moved on to college in Sioux Falls, SD, to study landscaping. That lasted a semester until I figured out I could mow lawns with out an college education.
Enter Plan B: I went back home and decided to take some computer and art classes at a local community college instead. I had never used a computer or taken a serious art class, but I caught on fast. I was competing with some of the kids that had been doing it all there life. Now that I knew I had a little talent I decided to take it a little more seriously. I moved to Des Moines and started taking graphic design classes. While at school I interned at McArtor Design for my good friend Jason McArtor. I learned much more working there then I could have at school. He got me started on Flash and programming. I have been working a lot in XHTML and CSS.
I am the programmer behind the blog you are currently reading.
