Aprox 1 1/2 years later Cojo sent me an invitation to his Birthday Party at a club called FLOW in NYC. Now, at this point I had no idea what Cojo looked liked. I had a mental picture of what I thought he would look like based on our chats, his artwork, and pure speculation. So I show up to the club with a couple of my friends. I am keeping my eyes open trying to spot him. It was open Vodka bar for the first hour so I tried my best to get my fair share. As I am sipping (guzzling) my martini's I see this guy walk past me with a dark suit and a sticker on his jacket that said "COJO". I was very shocked by what I saw! I was expecting an African American gentleman, boy was I shocked when I see this buzzed cut white boy. I didn't think there was a whiter man on the outside then me, I WAS WRONG!

The next day when I saw him on line, I confessed to him that I was taken aback that he was a white guy. He just laughed and said he has heard that before. The moral of this story, "Never judge a book by his artwork"

ABOUT ARTSUCKS

Artsucks.com tracks the wild, weird, and sometimes confusing life and mind of Cojo, Art Juggernaut (BIO) (PORTFOLIO), an artistic zeitgeist trudging the streets of Manhattan, gnawing on the big rotten apple for all it's worth, and getting drunk on the cider...Celebrity encounters, industry parties, the ins and outs of the art world, paparazzi, models, and deranged homeless people bathing in their own urine, no topic is safe, and the unusual is commonplace.
