THE BLUE SHOW (2001 PRESS RELEASE) was COJO® ART JUGGERNAUT'S first one man painted-work-on-canvas-gallery show. It was created just before, during, and after 9/11/01 (at which time Cojo decided to stick to a dark blue and gray palate.) This show was painted before Cojo received mass critical acclaim with the LIFEbeat Show , and before he had ever been printed in either MAXIM, ROLLING STONE, or VIBE.
THE BLUE SHOW was only available to be seen for three days in a gallery setting (November 29- December 1, 2001), and has since been well protected in storage. Cojo is very particular as to how many "COJO® ORIGINAL" pieces of physical works on canvas he produces, and these pieces (being of the first series ever in his career) , when taken in context of his entire body of work 30 years from now, will stand out as very important pieces in the Artist's Development.
These paintings are considerably different from the work Cojo is producing currently. He no longer works in square format. He no longer works in monochromatic. He no longer works this small. Owning a piece from this series will no doubt be a strong investment in this artist, and in your own personal collection. After these sell out, there won't be any more made like them in the foreseeable future.
The original show consisted of thirty three individual 12" x 12" framed pieces, four 4'x 4' larger pieces and one 5' x 9' piece. The larger pieces are no longer available. Currently there are only 19 of the original 33 12" x 12" pieces remaining.
No single collector currently owns more than three pieces. By purchasing four pieces from this series you would have the largest personally owned collection of THE BLUE SHOW paintings in existence.
As with Sketch365.com Cojo's paintings from this series are open to Museum and Gallery Acquisitions

Clicking individually on the unsold pieces to the left will allow you to see them larger, read the titles of the paintings, and have the option to buy them.
Some of the SOLD images in the gallery appear blurry. This is because they were purchased before they could be scanned.
Photos of Cojo painting on canvas were taken in 2001. They show Cojo painting the larger pieces of THE BLUE SHOW.
