HOW PRICING WORKS
CURRENT SELLING PRICE AND SKETCHES DRAWN NUMBER
At the start of the experiment (sketch365) the CURRENT SELLING PRICE for any unsold "Cojo Original" sketch will be $150.00 (82.88 GBP).
THE SKETCHES DRAWN NUMBER will start out at 001, being that on the first day of the experiment, there will only be one sketch available.
THE SKETCHES DRAWN NUMBER LOOKS LIKE:
The SKETCHES SOLD NUMBER will start at 000 at the beginning of the experiment. For each day of the experiment the sketches drawn number will rise 1. The SKETCHES SOLD NUMBER will rise every time someone purchases one of the sketches. When the number of SKETCHES SOLD reaches 100 the selling price of individual sketches on the site (any unsold sketch on the site) will be raised to $250.00 (138.14 GBP).
CURRENTLY THERE ARE:
The first 100 sketches sold are selling for the starting price of $150.00 (82.88 GBP) for any sketch on the site. When the sketches sold number hits 100 the price per sketch will jump $100. After that initial jump, for every 50 sketches sold the price per sketch will increase in increments of $50.00 (27.63 GBP). This goes for any previously unsold sketch as well as any newly added sketches. For example: The 100th sketch will still sell for $150.00 (82.88 GBP) while the 101th sketch will sell for $250.00 (138.14 GBP) (as it makes the $100 initial jump). The 150th sketch will still sell for $250.00 (138.14 GBP), while the 151st sketch sold will go for $300.00 as it begins it's $50 incremental increase for every 50 sketches sold. It pays to buy your sketches early on.
The only variation to the $50 (27.63 GBP) incremental price increase will be that the final 65 sketches sold will be going for $1000 (552.55 GBP) a piece. The buying of sketches works in a tiered pricing model, and is very much like BURNING MAN
in that the pieces are available for the cheapest prices at the beginning, and the prices increase over the course of the experiment as word on the experiment spreads and the variety of sketches in the avaliable archive builds.
