"(S)ea", by Cojo, is going to be a painting derived from a mix of distorted sea life, fantastical underwater creatures, imagined secret netherworld gardens, coiled, finned, scaled wonders and abstract forms eventually merging from the details developed over the course of a year in the Sketch365 "Rendered Quick Thought" experiment to form a symbiotic and cohesive vision of the aquatic world living beneath our own.

In this series Cojo pulls images from his imagination, lazy prepubescent days spent pouring through endless stacks of National Geographic Magazine, as well as memories of childhood snorkeling on Vermont's Lake Champlain, the Jersey Shore, Maui, Miami, and Montauk, and grinds them with lead into paper in his slick lined style. The canvas and paint reality to come should be nothing shy of spectacular.
