Tow Truck is a detail of painting Straphanger. I wanted to see what an I could come up with as far as an anthropomorphic pissed off tow truck walking on his tires as feet.

BASEBALL-ON-DECK

Baseball-on-deck is a detail of painting Sports. It was the first sketch in the subject of Sports and I wanted to start strong. I figured powerful larger-than-life generic figures representing various popular sports all collaged in a foreground (larger) to background (smaller) mass of action. Like a highschool yearbook photo in mid swing.

This character is next to be up to bat so I assumed he would be one of the less animated parts of the painting while jumping / flying people would be bustling all around him.

GLUTTON LARD

Glutton Lard is a detail of painting Sin. I was thinking about the seven deadly sins, and notably the sin of gluttony.

I wanted to make a living personification of gluttony. I came up with this swirling and dripping blob with sharp teeth, sharp claws and a handcuff for one eye that spirals off into space to grab unsuspecting victims and trap them in his world.

The yearlong sketch-a-day conceptual art experiment www.Sketch365.com was conceived by internationally renowned artist Cojo "Art Juggernaut" and has the historical presidence of being the first ever online drawing-a-day for a year art experiment of it's kind ( 9/25/2005 - 9/24/2006 ). It was devised to chronicle his 28th year of life in 365-fully-rendered drawings to be parts of the larger future work.

Cojo has now compiled and collaged the 365 sketches, which were drawn with the only limitation of having to loosely fit into into one of 10 SUBJECTS. These subjects are the titles & themes of a ten painting series based on the sketches to be completed by September 25, 2012.

Ten 8' x 3' finished paint on canvas masterworks are slowly being completed, while the original pencils remain intact and are available to purchase on this site. Each week more sketches will become available to purchase, as the 10 SUBJECTS step by step become closer to being a finished solid show.

The sketches from this experiment are available for purchase through the site on a first come first serve basis as they are made available each week. Each sketch is priced at $365.00 $100 USD (from now till October 2012. All unsold sketches will revert back to $365 after that date). It's through the sale of these sketches that the artist is able to paint and pursue his various artistic experiments.
